Q. How long have you been involved in theatre?
A. I have been involved in theatre for 15 years!!! I started when I was 7 years old.

Q. What inspired you to want to teach theatre?
A. My high school theatre teacher inspired me to teach theatre! He was an amazing mentor and always believed in us beyond our abilities.

Q. You are teaching a brand new class for EVCT kids, Intro to Production and Stagecraft. Can you tell us what inspired the curriculum? 
A. I absolutely love this class!!! The curriculum for this was inspired by my dual love for both acting and technical theatre. Technical theatre is often waited to be introduced until high school, and I wish I had learned more about it earlier. Not only did it become my niche, but I have and continue to learn so about collaboration, flexibility, and how to better support others from every show I work on. This class teaches all that goes into a production that is rarely ever seen and also helps put in perspective how many people are all working to make a beautiful show… not just the actors.

Q. You are a multi-faceted professional artist on stage and behind the scenes as a designer. How do these different skills help you?
A. Becoming a designer and technician has made me a better actor, and being an actor has made me a better designer and technician. I have an appreciation for all aspects of the theater, and I can’t wait to share that with students. 

Q. What is one fun fact about yourself that you would like to share with the EVCT community? 
A. I love grass and I just spent my summer in Ireland, the home of all things grassy and green!!! I was privileged enough to get to do a month-long acting intensive here at the Gaiety School of Acting and can’t wait to bring back everything I have learned!
