Where Students Experience the Power of Live Theatre
Educator Encore Program
Our Educator Encore Program makes it easy for schools and youth-centered groups to experience live children’s theatre. We collaborate with Mesa Arts Center staff to offer flexible pricing packages and hassle-free field trip logistics (i.e., POs, bus parking, staff, group seating, etc.).
A moderated Q&A with cast and crew occurs at the end of every show. Backstage tours can also be arranged depending on group size and availability.
Productions are performed at the Nesbitt/Elliott Playhouse, located inside the Mesa Arts Center, 1 E Main St, Mesa, AZ 85201. The venue seats up to 200 people and is accessible to all children.

Literature Alive!
Literature Alive! is a unique program that brings classic children’s stories to life through 25-minute theatrical performances in order to make reading fun and interactive for young audiences. Designed to inspire K-2 audiences, students receive a copy of the book after watching these tales come to life.
Performers come from our homeschool program (ages 6 to 16). Part of their fall curriculum involves transforming a different children’s story into a captivating show.
Title I schools in the East Valley are eligible. Performances can be scheduled anytime during the spring semesters.
