Macy Halverson is a student at the University of Arizona, majoring in Vocal Performance under the coaching of Kristin Dauphinais and Cynthia Stokes. Recent performance credits include ensemble roles in Thumbprint, Dido and Aeneas, and Le nozze di Figaro. Macy also recently made her debut as a producer, organizing a massive community effort to produce Rob Gardner’s oratorio, Lamb of God, with a 60 piece orchestra, 15 soloists, and 110 people in the choir. Outside of school hours, Macy conducts her church choir, and teaches drama classes. She has been serving on the National Opera Association’s student programming committee since March 2024. As a former EVCT kid, Macy’s favorite time of year is when she gets to return to the studio and serve as the summer camp administrator, a role that she has held for two years. She is grateful to everyone who has supported her on her artistic journey, including her teachers, friends, family, and EVCT!
