Who We Are

Theatre for Kids by Kids

EVCT is a professional-quality community theatre where children can grow and develop into successful and fulfilled adults. That’s who we are! We serve children ages 3 to 18 years, are managed by an all-volunteer Board of Directors, and staffed by professionals having education, business, and theatrical experience. Kids can take classes, participate in camps, workshops, master classes, playwriting festivals, contests, main stage productions, and more.

East Valley Children’s Theatre has been serving kids and their families since 1997. As a proud founding resident company of the Mesa Arts Center, we are pleased to offer five Main Stage Productions annually in the Nesbitt/Elliott Playhouse.

Managed by an all-volunteer Board of Directors, EVCT has grown from one production and one workshop to an award-winning, perennial education-based children’s theatre, bringing exceptional theatre to the community.

Our Team

An integral part of East Valley Children’s Theatre is its Board of Directors. As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, the Board sets policy and procedures for the operation of the organization, as well as providing fiscal responsibility for the continuing success of EVCT.
