Our Mission
EVCT provides transformative theatre experiences, nurtures creativity, and fosters inclusivity for young people, their families, and the community.
We heavily rely on the dedication of our volunteers to assist us in delivering the many programs that help us accomplish our mission. Our volunteers share a deep care for the youth and the future of our community. There is no greater reward than witnessing the laughter of children engaged in theater games or seeing a once-shy teenager confidently recite a monologue on stage. These intangible moments are unique to the transformative work we do at East Valley Children’s Theatre.
We invite YOU to join our team of passionate and dedicated volunteers! Your involvement can make a profound difference in the lives of young performers, nurturing their artistic talents, instilling confidence, and fostering an inclusive and imaginative environment. There are various ways to contribute, and we offer two remarkable scholarship funds that directly support aspiring artists.

EVCT is seeking valued board members with particular skills, business or theater experience, and community connections. General members are elected for a term of one year. Officer positions are 2-year terms. Upon completion of an application, potential members may be invited for an interview.
