Spring Break Camp
9:00 am - 4:00 pm

EVCT Presents
Musical Spring Break Camp!

Spooky đź‘» Spring

For Spring Break Camp, come learn “Popular” songs from the Creepiest and Kookiest of Broadway Musicals, such as Wicked, Beetlejuice, The Adams Family, and more! 

Camp culminates in a performance on the final day of camp.

March 10–14, from 9 am-4 pm,
at the EVCT Studio, 4501 East Main St.
on the SE corner of Greenfield & Main in Mesa.

A showcase for up to 3 guests will take place on March 14.
Please arrive in the office by 3:20 pm to be seated.

All campers will need to pack a lunch each day.

The Cost of Camp is $300
ESA funding is accepted as payment.

A sibling discount is available.
Fees are non-refundable or transferable.

EVCT On the Spot Troupe Performances

EVCT On The Spot troupe is an improv threatre troupe for teens, directed by Aaron Blanco. Each Semester, students develop and rehearse skills to tour improvised performances around the East Valley.

Join us for an evening of laughter and spontaneity as our talented teen improv troupe takes the stage! Experience the ultimate in comedic creativity, where every scene is made up on the spot. Best of all, it’s free to the public, so grab your friends and get ready to delve into a night of unforgettable fun and surprises! Don’t miss out!

On the Spot features students aged 12–18 under the direction of Aaron Blanco.

EVCT’s Acting Classes for Kids Teach the Following:

  • Students learn proper breathing and vocal techniques for articulation, projection, and voice variation.
  • Children explore movement and space and learn how to use them effectively when telling a story.
  • Students will explore the principles of blocking and understand how to stage a scene to effectively reach an audience.
  • Kids enrolled in musical theatre will learn how to act while singing and dancing.
  • Children’s acting classes help students learn and practice audition techniques.

Acting Classes Teach Kids Life Lessons

  • Kids learn how to work together and build trust.
  • Children learn empathy and character development. They learn to think critically and understand the “why” behind each character’s action.
  • Students learn effective listening and reacting and their importance on and off the stage.
  • Kids learn to express feelings and emotions and react to those acting with them.

EVCT has been offering acting classes in the Phoenix-area since 1997.
