Support EVCT
Thank You for Your Support!
Donations & Grants
East Valley Children’s Theatre relies on donations, grants, and the support of individuals like you to continue to offer the highest quality of theatre “for children, by children.”
Behind the scenes, our dedicated, volunteer Board works tirelessly to raise funds that enable us to offer a wide range of opportunities for children of all ages. While ticket sales contribute to our productions, they only cover a portion of what it takes to bring a professional-quality show to the stage.
Your contribution to East Valley Children’s Theatre will directly influence children’s lives by not only teaching them theatrical skills but also empowering them with valuable life skills. Through the magic of theatre, young actors gain confidence, creativity, teamwork, and a lifelong love for the arts. Without your support, none of this would be possible.
Join us in making a difference in the lives of children and the future of the performing arts. Thank you for your generosity and for believing in the power of theatre to transform lives. Together, we can create magical moments and inspire young hearts to shine on stage and beyond.
Karen and Ernie Rolston Scholarship Fund
Founding Artistic Director, Karen Rolston, and husband, Ernie, believe that in order to cultivate their artistic talents, and instill confidence, budding performers need opportunities to practice their performing art. EVCT’s Performance Troupes provide many opportunities to perform in different locations, under different circumstances, to gain confidence and self-esteem, learn to work together to achieve a common goal, and to create their art in an imaginative and welcoming space.
Patricia and Robert Goyer Memorial Scholarship Fund
Scholarships are awarded to deserving students so they can enroll in an EVCT program at a reduced rate, or at no personal cost. Founders, Robert and Patricia Goyer, believed that theatre education provides important life skills, and socio-economic circumstances should not limit those seeking opportunities in theatre.

Investing in kids is an investment in our future.
When Logan discovered EVCT, a service dog was with her. Logan was a junior high school student struggling with high levels of anxiety and did not feel comfortable socializing or engaging with peers. By the end of their first season at EVCT, the service dog was no longer accompanying Logan to and from school. And the following academic year, Logan set out to lead 2 student organizations at their high school: No Place for Hate and Bring Change 2 Mind. What a dramatic difference in a short period of time!
