Auditions for Literature Alive! are open to all homeschooled students ages 10–18. Literature Alive! is a literacy program at East Valley Children’s Theatre that encourages early elementary kids to read and write.
The troupe creates an original script based on a children’s book and rehearses it in the fall semester. In the spring, we perform at elementary schools (for kindergarten and first grade students).
If your child is cast, they will be required to pay a $300 troupe fee. The fee covers a semester of instruction, script, costume, and troupe t-shirt. Rehearsals will be Tuesdays from 12:30–2:30 pm. Performances will take place at varied times and locations.
ESA funding is accepted as payment.
