Session II


Virtual Classes

Thursdays October 14th – December 2nd
(
No class on Thanksgiving)

 

Class 102 – Private Voice Lessons - Varying times available (see below) – age 9-18. Instructor Breona Conrad.  All coaching sessions are 30 minutes in length. Breona will take you from where you are vocally and work individually with you on improving your singing skills. Make up lessons are available in case of illness. Times available for lessons are 4:00 pm, 4:35 pm, 5:10 pm, 5:45 pm.  Call the office to set up your time prior to registering at 480-756-3828. Cost of the seven weeks of voice lessons is $200.

Session II

October 11 – December 2, 2021

For kids age 5-14

 

One-hour classes that meet once a week for seven weeks – Cost $115

Monday October 11th through November 22nd


Class 13 – 4:30-5:30 pm – Look Mom I’m On Stage – kids 5-8 -

A beginning musical performance class for the young actor. Participants will work on stage presence, volume and projection and performing for an audience. Sharing of skills learn will be held on the final day of class. Instructor Kylie Burge

 

Class 14 – 6:30-7:30 pm – Actor’s Toolbox, Musical Theatre Techniques II – kids 8-14

For kids who have taken Music Theatre Techniques I or those who have some experience in musical theatre performance. The class will continue working on skills and music styles that are use when performing in a musical. Class culminates with a sharing on the final day of class. Instructor Rio Chavez

 

Tuesday October 12th through November 23rd

Class 15 – 4:30-5:30 pm – Actor’s Toolbox, Acting Basics II – kids 8-12

Class will review concepts from Acting Basics I and then delve into more advanced skills and techniques for all participants. Instructor Becca Lynn

Class 16 – 4:45-5:45 pm – Treasure Trunk Stories – kids 5-8
Each week the classparticipants take an object, costume piece or prop from the treasure trunk and then together they create a story utilizing those items. This creative approach is a great way for younger performers to learn basic theatre skills and explore their creativity. A sharing will occur during the last class. Instructor Kylie Burge

Class 17 – 5:30-6:30 pm – Actor’s Toolbox, Voice over Acting – kids 8-14
Ever wanted to be that voice of a cartoon character or the voice behind the commercial? Then this class is for you. Learn how your voice can show emotions and feelings without the help of your body or your face. Instructor Becca Lynn

 

Wednesday October 13th through November 24th

Class 18 – 4:15-5:15 pm – Actor’s Toolbox, Duo Acting – kids 8-14
A class in which acting skills are taught through two person scenes. A variety of styles of theatre and types of scenes will be used throughout the class. A sharing of the skills learned will occur on the last day of class. Instructor Becca Lynn

Class 19 – 4:30-5:30 pm – Actor’s Toolbox, Voice and Diction for the Stage – kids 8-14

A must have for any actor. Learn techniques for being heard and understood on stage while performing. Participants will gain knowledge in exercises and warmups that will enhance their performances. Instructor Rio Chavez

Class 20 – 5:15 – 6:15 pm -Actor’s Toolbox, Dramatic Scenes – kids 8-14
Participants will learn how to make believable and real drama on stage through scenes and monologues. Sharing of the skills learned will occur on the final day of class. Instructor Becca Lynn

Class 21 – 5:30-6:30 pm – Actor’s Toolbox, Make ‘em Laugh, a comedy class – kids 8-14

There is nothing more fun than comedy. Learn the different styles of comedy and how to create good comedy and comic timing, while gaining techniques in comic acting. Instructor Rio Chavez.

Class 22 – 4:30-5:30 pm – Production Class – Three Billy Goats Gruff – kids 5-8

Participants go through the process of putting on a play from audition to rehearsal to performance. Class culminates in a performance on the final day, complete with costumes and props. A great introduction to being in a play. Instructor Kylie Burge


 

1 ½ -hour classes that meet once a week for seven weeks – Cost $185

 

Thursday October 14th through December 2nd (no class on Thanksgiving)

Class 23 – 5:30-7:00 pm - Production Class – Rapunzel – kids 8-14 - Participants go through the process of putting on a mini-musical from audition to rehearsal to performance. Class culminates in a performance on the final day, complete with costumes and props. A great introduction to being in production. Instructor Kylie Burge
