Auditions for Improv Troupes

Improv auditions are open to all actors ages 7-18. Auditions will be for both of EVCT’s improv troupes. There is no cost to audition.

EVCT Jr. Jokesters youth improv troupe is under the direction of Jamie Gilbert. The troupe is made up of youth ages 7-13 who rehearse and perform improvisation shows at a variety of venues in the East Valley. The troupe rehearses on Thursdays from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. Performance days will vary. 

EVCT’s On the Spot Teen Improv Troupe is under the direction of Aaron Blanco. The troupe is made up of youth aged 12-18 who rehearse and perform improvisation shows at a variety of venues in the East Valley, making up their performance on the spot. The troupe rehearses on Tuesdays from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Performance days will vary. 

There is a $350 troupe participation fee for all actors, which can be paid in one lump sum or as monthly payments. The cost to be in the troupe includes instruction, a performance shirt, and supplies. ESA funding is accepted. Financial Aid is available.
