Auditions for Improv Troupes
Improv auditions are open to all actors ages 7-18. Auditions will be for both of EVCT’s improv troupes.
EVCT’s Jr. Jokesters youth improv troupe is under the direction of Jamie Gilbert. The troupe is made up of youth ages 7–11 who rehearse and perform improvisation shows at a variety of venues in the East Valley. Troupe meets each week on Thursdays from 6:30 to 8:00 pm.
EVCT’s On the Spot, Teen Improv Troupe is under the direction of Aaron Blanco. The troupe is made up of youth aged 12–18 who rehearse and perform improvisation shows at a variety of venues in the East Valley, making up their performance on the spot. Troupe meets each week on Tuesdays from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
There is a $300 troupe participation fee for all actors. The cost to be in the troupe includes 12 weeks of instruction, a performance t-shirt, and supplies. ESA funding is accepted.
