EVCT’s workshops
Designed to Prepare Kids for the Main Stage Audition Experience at EVCT
EVCT’s audition workshops are designed to prepare kids for the audition experience at EVCT. The goal is to introduce students to the script, get them comfortable in the space and with each other, and teach them elements of the anticipated production. They learn choreography and music, if the upcoming show is a musical, and they explore alternative voices for different characters, practicing with other students.
In addition, one of the primary objectives of our workshops is to prepare participants for auditions in upcoming performances and productions. Recognizing the importance of auditions in the performing arts, we equip children and teens with the necessary tools and techniques to present their best selves during these pivotal moments.
